NO STRINGS ATTACHED: ASA ELECTRONICS INTRODUCES VOYAGER WIRELESS REAR OBSERVATION SYSTEM

ELKHART, IN - January 1, 2008 - ASA Electronics, an international manufacturer and supplier of mobile audio and video equipment, is pleased to introduce an all-new, no-strings-attached concept in RV Observation.  Please welcome the Voyager® Wireless Rear Observation System to the RV/Towables market.  The Voyager® Wireless Observation System consists of a high performance Voyager® 5.6” LCD Monitor with a 12V accessory plug, a receiver, a transmitter, a Voyager® color rear observation camera, a suction cup monitor mount, and a trailer cable.

Due to the dangerous blind spots and visibility limitations that often accompany RVs, ASA Electronics offers the Voyager® Wireless Observation System to increase road visibility and safety for 5th wheel and travel trailer applications.  The system’s transmitter, which is installed in the front of the travel trailer, wirelessly delivers a signal to the receiver/monitor located in the tow vehicle.  Images of the vehicle’s surroundings are displayed on the LCD monitor and allow drivers the ability to safely perform daily driving maneuvers such as backing up and changing lanes.

The Voyager® 5.6” LCD Monitor comes with a specially-designed suction cup monitor mount. This allows the monitor to be easily attached to the windshield of any tow vehicle and enables movement between vehicles.  The monitor features a built-in speaker and convenient front controls for power on/off and brightness adjustment.  A cable that connects the camera to the transmitter is also included and works with all towable RV applications.

The Voyager® rear camera features wide viewing angles, infrared LED illumination for low light performance, a built-in microphone, and mirror/normal image orientation.

As the ideal solution for easy towable RV observation, the Voyager® Wireless Observation System enhances road safety and visibility and keeps drivers and others safe while out on the road.  This system is now currently available to the industry.
